We welcome both students, academicians, researchers and industry professionals to apply. As much as we want everyone to join us, there is limited space available so we shall review applications and contact successful applicants. The workshop will feature invited talks from prominent researchers and practitioners, oral presentations, spotlight talks, poster session and an Exhibition. There will also be socials to facilitate networking, discussion of different career opportunities in AI, and sharing of ideas to increase participation of Ugandan researchers in the field. We invite all members of the AI community to apply and attend the workshop. We welcome research papers, position papers, survey papers, vision papers, or papers that inform about neglected/abandoned areas of study where AI could be impactful. Papers may introduce new theory, methodology, applications or product demonstrations. Submit a two (2) page abstract with relevant results with extra pages for references using the link below:

HACKATHON |
We shall have the hackathon run on ZINDI platform on 29th July, 2021. Instructions to join and take part in the hackathon will be shared in the near future. |
